Install the tag
One script. No server-side integration.
Add this to your pages, typically just before the closing </body> tag:
<script src="https://widget.adzen.ai/static/embed/v1.js" defer></script>v1.js is a small loader: it adds the tag’s stylesheet and then loads the tag
itself. Load v1.js, not v1.main.js directly. Without the stylesheet the
ads render unstyled and the disclosure tooltip is always visible.
That is the whole install. Adzen reads your page on its side, so there is nothing for you to send us. The tag handles everything in the browser:
- Fetches ad placements for the current page
- Scans content for matching anchor text
- Inserts sponsored links with disclosure badges
- Tracks impressions and clicks
Availability by surface
Static
Available. The tag is the standard Static integration.
Three things need to be in place, and the first two are done by the Adzen team:
- A publisher profile
- One or more registered domains — see Domain configuration
- The tag installed on your pages
How placements work
When a reader loads a page carrying the tag:
- The tag sends the page URL to Adzen
- Adzen returns up to 3 placements, each with anchor text and a CTA — if any are available for that page
- The tag finds that anchor text in your page content
- Matching phrases become sponsored links
- Each link carries a disclosure badge — tooltip on desktop, overlay on mobile

How the tag protects your content
The tag is deliberately conservative about your content:
- Skips boilerplate — navigation, headers, footers
- Respects link density — will not place into link-heavy sections
- Respects content limits — paragraph caps, sentence caps, proximity limits
- Counts impressions on visibility — an impression is counted once any part of the ad has been in the viewport for 1 second
- Stays current — the script updates automatically
Those limits are why the integration is a single line: the judgement calls that would otherwise be your configuration problem are made by the tag.
